Mana concert tickets for Mana tours have been available since 1978 when Jose Fernando Olvera, Gustavo Orozco, Juan Diego Calleros, Ulises Calleros, and Abraham Calleros played covers under the name the Green Hat Spies. It took three years, but that cover band would begin writing their own material, embrace their Latin roots, and released their debut album, Sombrero Verde. They remained Sombrero Verde for a few more years and another album, A Tiempe de Rock, but eventually changed names and endured some growing pains, with the first band lineup changes.

Mana now consists of lead singer Fher Olvera, drummer and backup singer Alex Gonzalez, bass guitarist Juan Calleros, and electric guitarist Sergio Vallin.
