Mike Smith
Mike Smith was not only a guitarist, but he also mixed sound for critically acclaimed films like "The Weight of Water" and "Serendipity". He had a long standing friendship with Mike Clattenburg, the director of "Trailer Park Boys". He also met Robb Wells and John Paul Tremblay while mixing the sound on the original feature. When Smith joined the show as Bubbles, it was not a main character. When Smith portrayed Bubbles on television, the audiences loved his character so much, that the more outrageously he behaved, the more his popularity grew. Soon Bubbles became one of the three main protagonists in the series.
Keeping in mind the popularity of his character, Smith started his own bar called "Bubbles Mansion". He also appeared as Bubbles in many shows of Guns N Roses Canadian tour of 2006. He recently hosted the 2006 and the 2007 East Coast Music Awards in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Mike Smith is a very popular and admired Canadian actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Bubbles on the hit Canadian television series "Trailer Park Boys".
This great actor was born on August 27, 1972 in Thornburn, Nova Scotia. Since his early childhood days he displayed a talent for playing the guitar. He started learning how to play the guitar at the young age of seven. He completed his degree in English from St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
Before he joined the television series, he was a guitarist in the popular rock band Sandbox and signed a deal with EMI in Canada, and Nettwerk in the United States. Sandbox released two hit albums titled "Bionic" and "A Murder in the Glee Club". Sandbox reached new levels of popularity when the band was nominated for a Juno Award, East Coast Music Awards and a Casby Award.
