Nordic Combined Tickets The Nordic Combined is the skiing sport that equally weights two separate sports that are already represented at most winter athletic competitions. Cross-country skiing and ski jumping are combined in this aptly named Nordic Combined. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Nordic Combined tickets will be available for the competition at Whistler Olympic Park. The sport evolved at winter festivals that included both events since the 19th century. The Olympics picked up the Nordic Combined event in 1924. The sport has since been dominated by Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria, and the United States. The 2010 Winter Games is a men's only event since women have yet to begin competing in the event. The three Nordic Combined events are the Individual Large Hill ski jump and 10 km cross country, the Individual Normal Hill ski jump and 10 km cross country, and Team Large Hill ski jump and 4x5 km cross country Relay.
