Skeleton Tickets The Skeleton, otherwise known as tobboganing, is the winter sport that takes a single athlete down a half-pipe in an unprotected sled.  The Skeleton initially became an Olympic sport in 1928, but was dropped by 1948. The sport returned to the Winter Games in 2002 in Salt Lake City. In 2010, the Skeleton will have just two events, men's and women's runs. The men and women will fly down the track in the first run on the seventh day of the 2010 Winter Olympics on February 18, 2010 and finish with a second on the next day. This is one of the quickest events to finish in this year's winter games.
