Verlander has 20 quality starts in 22 games. That means he has just two bad starts so far this season. His incredible 2011 stat line includes a 13-5 record, a 2.24 ERA, a 0.88 WHIP, and a 8.84 K/9 ratio. Detroit would win three more World Series, in 1945, 1968, and 1984. Perhaps the most memorable of those three is the 1984 win.
