The Giants do not have to worry about pitching. The bullpen has been superb. Brain Wilson has been very solid closing games after a rough start and actually leads the team in wins with four. Javier Lopea, Sergio Romo, and Ramon Ramirez are terrific setup men, each with an ERA below 2.00. Starter Tim Lincecum appears on his way to a third Cy Young, beginning the 2011 season with seven quality starts in 10 games and posting a 2.06 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Matt Cain, Jonathan Sanchez, and Madison Bumgarner are very good middle of the rotation pitchers. Cain in particular is having a very good year. Add a decent fifth starter (perhaps Ryan Vogelsong) and this Giants squad should be able to take the NL West with ease.
