 The 2010 NBA All Star Game is going to be played on a much bigger stage than normal. The game will be held at the new Cowboys Stadium on February 14, 2010. This is a huge venue for the league to try and bounce back. This will be the 59th game that pits the best players in the NBA against each other for an exhibition game. Do not expect much defense, but enjoy plenty of playground moves and fun bravado with NBA All Star tickets for this game. The weekend is much more than an All Star game. There will be the Rookie Challenge that pits the new crop of NBA rookies against some one-year veterans. Traditionally the sophomores dominate handedly with one year of NBA experience under their belt. The rest of the weekend will have a few more exhibition events. The NBA All Star weekend will have the Shooting Stars game, the Skills Challenge, the Foot Locker Three-Point Challenge, and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest. The Shooting Stars game will take current an NBA player from a team, a WNBA player from a corresponding city, and an NBA Legend from the franchise. The Skills Challenge takes the league's best guards and runs threw a drill challenge that requires the player to complete a variety of passes, make free throws, make lay-ups, and run threw an agility drill. The three point challenge is just what it sounds like, six players spotting up at five spots around the arc in a timed event.
