New Jersey Nets Tickets The NBA trade deadline has passed and the New Jersey Nets are spending their last half of the 2012 NBA season as the NJ Nets in a tailspin. The eight game losing streak that frustrated fans and Deron Williams during the month of February is over and the basketball team has begun its battle back to respectability by trading for Gerald Wallace. It is difficult to conceive, but the franchise and this roster is one extended winning streak from competing with the Knicks, Bucks, and Cavs for the final spot on the Eastern Conference side of the postseason. Yes, thanks to the futility after the cream of the crop in the Eastern Conference New Jersey Nets tickets are still worthwhile. The Prudential Center will be filled with fans waiting to see if a roster starting Williams and rookie MarShon Brooks in the backcourt and Kris Humphries, Wallace, and Sheldon Williams in the front court is enough to charge back from the bottom of the Atlantic Division in an effort to save the season for the fans and convince Williams to stay. Williams is doing his best to keep the team afloat. He is scoring more 22 points and dishing out 8 assists a game. His field goal percentage is down, but he has been one of the few scoring options. The arrival of Gerald Wallace and the return of Brook Lopez will take the some of that scoring load off Williams. In fact, there is actually quite a decent supporting cast here, if the Nets can send some package of players down south to Orlando to bring Dwight Howard to Brooklyn to open the Nets inaugural season at the Barclays Center. Of course, that is far too forward looking. Even if the front office is not concerned with the NBA playoffs in 2012, they still have to figure out a way to avoid finishing the season on such a losing streak that Williams begins publically acknowledging his extreme interest in Dallas.  New Jersey Nets tickets have been available since 1967, when the Nets, then the New Jersey Americans, were among the 11 founding franchises of the American Basketball Association. The Nets now play at the Prudential Center, and in the years since taking the court they have won two ABA championships but have come up empty since the ABA merged with the NBA. The New Jersey Nets originally played in New York City, but moved south to New Jersey as part of the agreement of the merger. The ABA teams were led by a young Julius Erving, known as Dr. J. His incredible acrobatics helped launch the modern game, moving the game from below the rim to above it. He won two ABA championships as a Net and three ABA MVPs. The Net tickets were most certainly part of a Golden Age for the franchise in the 1970s as part of the ABA. Unfortunately, once joining the NBA, the Nets ownership had to trade Julius Erving for cash. New Jersey tried to rebuild quickly with Nate Archibald and rookie Bernard King. The anticipated return or continuation of glory never materialized and the Nets struggled as a lottery team or a lower seed in the playoffs despite drafting talented forwards like Buck Williams and Derrick Coleman. The NBA basketball game was a guard's game and the addition of Kenny Anderson came far too late, after the franchise had already developed a culture of losing, frustration, and general dysfunction. The New Jersey Nets turned things around in the 21st century; with newly acquired point guard Jason Kidd running the floor and athletic power forward Kenyon Martin and shooting guard Richard Jefferson finishing lobs at the basket. Coach Byron Scott took the Nets to two straight NBA Finals, in 2002 and 2003. Nets tickets were playoff tickets for losing efforts both times, first to the Lakers in a clean sweep and second to the Spurs in six games. Jason Kidd has been traded and the New Jersey Nets have begun rebuilding again, hoping to build a basketball team capable of winning four Atlantic Division titles in six seasons once again.
