Neon Trees is alternative rock quartet comprised of lead singer and keyboardist Tyler Glenn, lead guitarist Chris Allen, bassist Brandon Campbell, and drummer Elaine Bradley. This group out of Provo, Utah has become a nationally recognized phenomenon thanks the single "Animal". The band formed in 2005 as neighbors Glenn and Allen took their mutual appreciation for music and formed a then un-named entity of two. Eventually the band swelled from the original two to five, eventually shrinking to the lineup of four that is currently on tour, playing concerts in support of groups like the Killers and 30 Seconds to Mars. Neon Trees sound is comfortably in the middle of the familiar mainstream and the indie edge slowly taking over contemporary alternative.

They have had their debut album Neon Trees catapulted into the Billboard 200 six months after its initial release (March 16, 2010) thanks to the single "Animal" and the favorable exposure after performing on other bands headlining tours and at Lollapalooza.
