Artist Biography - Nervous Wreck
|
Their music has been compared to veteran rock bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Muse and Radiohead. Their songs vary from fast paced pop/rock to soft haunting melodies, drifting casually to some powerful rock songs. Their stage shows are renowned for their extravagant visual effects that compliment the entire character of the band.
The E Knox magazine was quoted saying, "Where other bands rely too heavily on one or two spotlights and a smoke machine for effect NW take several steps forward and offer slide shows and light ropes which saturates the venue with a perfect creative energy. Their attitudes both on and off stage resonate total perfectionism & professionalism which will carry them as far as they wish to go."
Nervous Wreck have been touring extensively these couple of years and have supported famous bands like Evermore, The Datsuns, Stellar & Tadpole, and Head Like a Hole. The band has released two singles "All Abroad" and "Log Off" in 2004. The sings are part of their upcoming third EP is due for release in 2006.
