The Cleveland Browns fans endured another difficult season in 2010-2011. They are 5-10 with one game at home at Cleveland Browns Stadium to finish the year. Cleveland Browns tickets have not been in vain though. The team has managed to remain competitive in most games, even if they lose a majority of them in Eric Mangini's second season as coach. The Browns offense has been far from stellar, averaging 17.5 points a game (second-worst in the league). Cleveland has the 30th ranked passing game with 187.1 yards a game and the 19th ranked running game with 106.9 yards a game. This football team relies on burly fullback turned running back Peyton Hillis. Hillis ran for 1,164 yards on 4.4 yards a carry and 11 touchdowns. He is even the second-leading receiver on the team with 60 receptions for 474 yards and 2 touchdowns. The only downside is that he has a tendency to fumble the football, fumbling the ball 8 times and turning the ball over five times. Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, and Colt McCoy have taken turns starting behind center. The rookie McCoy remains the starter at the end of the season. He has 1,367 passing yards, a 63.5 pass completion percentage, and 5 touchdowns. McCoy has 6 interceptions and is posting an 81.9 QB Rating. He is enjoying a trial by fire in his first season. The leading receiver on a team that has started three different players at quarterback is tight end Benjamin Watson. Watson has 61 receptions for 696 yards and 3 touchdowns. At times is has appeared that Mohamed Massaquoi would emerge as a go-to deep threat. His season stats include 33 receptions, 433 yards, and 2 touchdowns. The Browns defense is quite good. It allows 19.4 points a game, 7th fewest in the league. Cleveland holds players to 214.2 passing yards (13th) and 131.3 rushing yards a game (26th). The defense has been quite effective, forcing 28 turnovers. Browns tickets for next season will be hard to find as the team returns with a great defense, a quarterback with a season under his belt, and a feature back in Hillis. Add a couple of decent receivers to this group and Cleveland could be looking for an 8 win season.
