San Jose Sharks tickets are some of the most popular tickets for sale in California. Sharks fans fill every seat in the HP Pavillion for every home game. Currently the Sharks are in fourth place in the Pacific Division. Even though they sit in fourth now the division is still up for grabs and clinching a spot in the 2011 playoffs is still very obtainable. Coming into the 2010-2011 season most Sharks fans were not sure what the season held. Most of the uncertainty was due to the Sharks inability to play defense. Defensemen Joe Thorton has inpired new hope for the Sharks defense and is making progress on the offensive side of his game. Goaltender Niemi has also shown improvement thought this season. He has started to hang on to rebounds that usually get away from him. Part of his new found success could be from the improved offensive attack by the rest of the team. Offensively Patrick Marleau has been the Sharks go to guy. He has racked up over 20 goals so far. The only complaint fans have about Marleau is his inconsistent play. He has shown spurts of greatness this season but has also been remarkably bad sometimes at handling the puck. One of the few players the Sharks have gotten consistent play out of would be rookie Logan Couture. He has been a steady source of goals and he handles the puck well. He should continue to produce for the Sharks and be a fan favorite. The Sharks are halfway through the season and one thing for sure, there is still a lot of hockey to be played and you can never count the Sharks out. If San Jose can rally together and play consistent hockey they should find a spot of their own in the 2011 Playoffs and perhaps the Stanley Cup. Sharks fans are anxious to see how the rest of the season plays out and are ready to get their seats in the HP Pavillion at San Jose.
