Nintendo Fusion Tour
Nintendo Fusion Tour is a touring music festival featuring rock/punk. The tour is sponsored by Nintendo. The tour begins in Detroit on September 27, and ends in Michigan on November 23, on Toms River, New Jersey. This year the headline performance is by Fall Out Boy. The other bands are The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack , Boys Night Out and Panic! at the Disco.
Nintendo has previously introduced kooky character nomenclatures as Princess Zelda, Kid Icarus, Mother Brain, Mario and Luigi and King Hippo. About this year's tour Fall Out Boy's lead singer, Patrick Stump said that his band had hand-picked the four supporting acts. But the supporting acts were as good as the curtain raiser. Panic! at the Disco had launched their debut album earlier in the week. They were soon one of the major attractions. Motion City Soundtrack is a long time Midwest favorite and were immediately lapped up. And the aliens are the Canadian imports Boys Night Out. They did more than a sample from their latest record, Trainwreck. They are going along way with their screamo vocals. They also had the most energetic stage presence.
