Artist Biography - Pink Floyd Laser Show

 This entire show is second to none, though the use of laser was introduced by the Blue Oyster Cult a Brooklyn heavy metal band in 1970s. Pink Floyd managed to popularize it with a single nifty parlor trick that turned into an art form. The recent show did not saw the band members on stage, but the authentic sounds recorded by the band was pumped in throughout the evening at the Merrillville's Star Plaza Theater. The well-established and talented crew of Steve Monistere presented the breathtaking computerized choreography with laser light show with the strains of Pink Floyd songbook.
The show began with Pink Floyd's album 'Dark Side Of The Moon', that continued for the first half of the show from start to end. ' a few numbers from ‘The Wall" and some sounds from 'Wish You Were Here' were kept for the rest, second half of he show. Monistere, in 1986, were the first ones to produce the 'Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular show'. It received an overwhelming response and has gained the desired attention ever since. The spectators for the event has been steadily growing along with the ever increasing demand of the show.
The event has reached the zenith and to the extent, where it now also takes place outside of the U.S. too. To match up to the demand, there have been plans for a second production line so that the event can be showcased in as many cities as possible. This show makes the best use of Roger Waters and David Gilmour's era of the group music. They try not to dig into the the early Syd Barrett years. They decide the quality of the show on their early recording and not not on the quality of the Barrett-era music.
The event not only includes the swelling herd of young souls but whosoever is young at heart can enjoy the show. In such musical extravaganza you can see a 16 year old besides a person who crossed 60 year of his life. To watch of the extraordinary performances and the shrilling sounds along with marvelous laser light show, is a lifetime experience. So, if you wish to commemorate the rock sounds and dance to the Pink Floyd's thumping music, buy your tickets and reach up to your seats in the venue.
