Invasion of the American Idol Boys

The two David’s from last season’s American Idol are at it again. It seems like literally almost moments apart both winner, David Cook, and runner up, David Archuleta, both announced solo tours. The girls are going to go crazy for these two boys and I mean boys...David Archuleta is just 17 and he is heading out on a 20 city tour starting February 24 and going through March 21. He will stick mostly to medium size theatres and House of Blues venues. Archie is also giving acting a try and will make a guest appearance the Nickelodeon’s show Icarly on February 7th. A cutie on a cute show.
David Cook kicks off his first solo tour on February 13 in Tallahassee Florida. David will be playing major venues plus hold on to your hats girls, college campuses as well. David is pretty excited to go on tour and especially with getting back to the college campus tour concept which really helped a lot of bands out back in the day. A few of the colleges he will be hitting are University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire Wisconsin, and Green Bay Wisconsin, Penn State York in York PA, University of Texas in Tyler Texas and University of Tulsa in Tulsa OK. His schedule is jammed packed and he is ready to go and give it all it takes.
Disney Hollywood Theme park is getting in on the American Idol action as well. They now have a new American Idol Experience attraction where you can be a part of American Idol. They have the sets, and all you can hope for next to being on the real thing. You can be an audience member and watch or you can vote on your favorites and you can even audition and perform and possibly win the chance for a real audition in front of a real American Idol representative. So you can see your favorites on tour or be an idol yourself while on vacation. If you are an American Idol addict there is plenty of Idol fun to go around.
