It has been a very slow gossip day and I have to say that the big news today was more unbelievable crazy stuff about Heidi and Spencer Pratt. I am only going to subject you to this because hey it will give you a good laugh and who couldn’t use a good laugh. Oh these two are quite the pair; in fact they are actually quite perfect for each other. When you listen to them you really wonder if they can be for real. Although they say they are not “actors” if this is who they really are….between the talk of the devil and Jesus and the syrupy sweetness of Heidi, it is truly more than a person can take. So here is the newest issue. Heidi and Spencer feel that while being interviewed this morning by NBC weatherman Al Roker on the “Today Show” that he personally attacked Heidi and made her cry. The duo was incensed by the interview and Heidi went so far as to warn other women to be careful of him because of his aggressive and disrespectful nature. Now honestly, I saw the interview and Al did needle the couple a bit, but hey it’s Speidi and they did kind of warrant that line of questioning but honestly Al Roker did not come across all that aggressive and I hardly think he is someone to watch out for for his behavior towards women. Now that being said it was not the nicest interview I have ever seen but again Heidi and Spencer Pratt are known for blowing things out of proportion and you can bet they were all over the media today, trashing Al Roker, who they claim they didn’t even know. It was quite comical to watch and I have included the “Today show” interview for you to see as well as the short interview that Heidi and Spencer gave forgiving Al for his rude behavior. They are a forgiving pair aren't they?
 

Just when you think there is the tiniest thread of hope that Lindsay Lohan is getting her act together a story like this surfaces and just makes you wonder about some people. So Lindsay’s latest story revolves around stolen jewelry from a recent magazine shoot in London. Throughout the shoot Lindsay went on and on about wanting to keep the beautiful jewelry that she was given to wear for the shoot. People thought she had to be joking but she wouldn’t stop talking about keeping them. Ironically after the shoot the jewelry was missing and so was Lohan. After 2 weeks of unreturned calls to the jewelers about their missing $45,000 worth of jewelry the matter has been turned over to the British police. Unfortunately for Lindsay this is not the first time her name has been linked to theft. There is another photo shot theft in question, this time in regards to Louis Vuitton items that were used and then went missing. The Company now refuses to work with the actress after that situation. In another situation it seems that Lohan swiped an $11,000 mink coat from someone at a nightclub. Not only did this person claim that Lindsay had knowingly stolen the coat from her, she actually saw the coat again when Lindsay was photographed wearing the coat that the owner spotted in a magazine photo of the starlet. Interestingly enough, after the rightful owner threatened legal action the coat was returned. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

An official apology to Sarah Palin and her family from David Letterman. After nearly a week and a lot of whining, Dave apologizes on his Monday night show. Dave says, “I told a bad joke. I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception.” He continues saying, “It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault. So I would like to apologize to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I’m sorry about it and I’ll try to do better in the future. Thank you very much.” So lets’ hope this appeases everyone and we do not have to talk about this issue any more. Nice job Dave! Also clearing up a misunderstanding is John Mayer who Twittered this weekend about watching his friend Rob Dyrdek, who stars in the new movie, “Street Dreams”, being in the hospital and watching him get his stomach pumped after a night of too much partying. It turns out that the two were having a bit of fun and that it was not true at all. Wow isn’t Twitter just a hoot?
