David Copperfield may have been the subject of parody on Arrested Development, but the man who is known for his flair for the dramatic has shown he is not without a sense of humor. Recently he paired with Funny or Die to “threaten” Harry Potter and JK Rowling with an “Accio Cease and Desist” sent via certified owl.

Sometimes it is difficult to remember, but Copperfield is a consummate performer and has even tried to bridge the gap between illusion and acting. Lest we not forget, his IMDB list includes an appearance as Ken the Magician in the Jamie Lee Curtis Canadian horror vehicle “Terror Train”. Now, spoiler alert, Copperfield’s Ken is not the killer, this time, but then he did not have a reason for revenge! So, perhaps Mr. Potter and Mrs. Rowling should watch out before David goes all Copperfield on them and drops the Statue of Liberty on them.
