Projekt Revolution
Linkin Park began selling tickets for Projekt Revolution in 2002. The music festival was meant to bring together artists from different music genres. That first year of the music festival had one stage and four performers, Linkin Park, Cypress Hill, Adema, and DJ Z-Trip. The inaugural year proved to be a huge success and the concert series became an annual tradition.
In 2003 the rap/rock group shared the stage with Mudvayne, Xzibit, and Blindside. By 2004, the tour expanded by adding a second stage, the Revolution stage to present lesser profile acts along the way. That first year of dual stages had Linkin Park, Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake on the main stage and groups like Ghostface Killah, Funeral for a Friend, Autopilot Off, and M.O.P. on the second stage. The expansion was met by enthusiasm by fans waiting in lines and desperately trying to get through online to get Projekt Revolution tickets.
