Two years later R. Kelly debuted as a solo artist. The album 12 Play was a true breakout hit, scoring six-times platinum. He has only released nine albums since (R. Kelly, R., TP-2.com, Chocolate Factory, Happy People/U Saved Me, TP.3 Reloaded, Double Up, Untitled, and Love Letter). Six of the albums have gone multi-platinum, one has gone platinum, one has gone gold, and only one has failed to chart. For as much success as R. Kelly has had, it is somewhat of a shock to learn that he only has topped the U.S. R&B Charts eight times ("Bump n' Grind", "You Remind Me of Something", "Down Low", I Can't Sleep Baby", I Believe I Can Fly", "I Wish", "Fiesta", and "Step in the Name of Love"). The song that defines his career and the song that most fans wait to hear at R. Kelly concerts is "I Believe I Can Fly", though a number of fans may also be purchasing R. Kelly tickets to hear him dictate a story in "Trapped in the Closet, Chapter 1". OnlineSeats will have the R. Kelly tickets for the two recently announced concert dates in the UK and for any dates announced for a possible extended tour schedule in 2011. Find great seats to other great R&B concerts as well.
