Reba McEntire is on the move once again. After finding an energized audience willing ot wait in long lines to see her and George Strait in concert in the fall of 2010, she will be back with Reba McEntire tickets for the winter of 2011. She will take to the road with George Strait and Lee Ann Womack, solidifying this as a chance to enjoy classic country above all else.

With a contract to Mercury Records, McEntire began her professional career with a hard honky tonk sound, which didn't go over well at a time when country music was dominated by outlaw country artists like Willie Nelson and David Allan Coe. She soon married Charlie Battles and earned a teaching degree. "Three Sheets in the Wind"/"I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" became her first charting single in 1978 (see 1978 in music), and was followed by the bigger hit "(You Lift Me) Up to Heaven" (1980, 1980 in music). With more pop-oriented balladry, McEntire began to expand her audience during the early 1980s, signing to MCA Records in 1984 (see 1984 in music) and becoming one of the best-selling country artists of the time. She won the Female Vocalist of the Year award from the Country Music Association four times, and had dozens of Top Ten hits during the 80s.

After divorcing Battles in 1987 (see 1987 in music), McEntire married Narvel Blackstock, a noted steel guitarist and the couple took control over all aspects of her career. Reba's entire band died in 1991 in a plane crash. Even without the major label support she had enjoyed in the 80s, McEntire continued to hit the charts through the 1990s, (and had a son, Shelby Steven McEntire, born 1990) as well as appearing in television and film, most notably Tremors, a cult horror movie, and One Night at McCool's. Since 2001, she has starred on the hit WB television show, Reba.

Reba found new success in the 2008, beginning with partnering with Brooks and Dunn to record a new version of Cowgirls Don't Cry. The song was her 56th Top Ten hit on the country charts. A re-energized McEntire left MCA Nashville and signed with the Valory Music Group. Part of the reason for the switch was the chance to be reunited with Valory president Scottt Borcheta, who once worked with MCA.

The label swap proved to pay dividends almost right away, as her first single under the new label, Strange, peaked at number 11 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Reba McEntire followed with the release of her 25th studio album, Keeping On Loving You, which hit the shelves on August 18, 2009. The album reached number on the Billboard charts, breaking the previous record for female country artists previously held by Loretta Lynn.

The success of her 25th album led to a 26th. All the Women I Am came out on November 9, 2010. It reached number six on the U.S. Country Charts and peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200. This album featured a sound at times country rock and at others classic with touching ballads, especially in the case of "If I Were A Boy." The new album led to a new tour, but not a traditional promotional tour. Instead Reba McEntire took to the road with George Strait, selling concert tickets to see two living legends. The 2010 lasted through the fall, and its success inspired a 2011 tour, this time adding Lee Ann Womack to the mix.
