The city of Santa Ana is located in the state of California, United States. The city falls in the Orange County and is the county-seat of the same. According to the 2008 Census estimates, the city has a population of 353,184.

The city is a part of the Los Angeles–Long Beach–Santa Ana metropolitan area, which has a population of nearly thirteen million people, making it the second most populous metropolitan area in the country. Santa Ana was incorporated as a city in the year 1869 and as per the United States Census Bureau, the city covers a total area of 71.0 square kilometer, of which 99.05% is land.

The city has a thriving economy and is home to two Fortune 500 companies, namely 'Ingram Micro' and 'First American Corp'. The famous guitar manufacturing company 'Rickenbacker International Corporation', is also based here. There are several other major corporations headquartered in the city, such as the 'Orange County Register', 'Greenwood & Hall', 'Behr Paint' and 'Wahoo's Fish Taco'.

The city is a popular tourist place and features many famous attractions, such as the Artist Village and Civic Center, the Bowers Museum, the Centennial Heritage Museum, the CSUF Grand Central Art Center, the Discovery Science Center, the Downtown National Register District, the Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum, the Galaxy Theatre, the Santa Ana Civic Center, the Santa Ana Zoo and the Sol Art Gallery Cafe.

The 'OC Pavilion performing arts center' is largely recognized as the cultural center of the city. Santa Ana also features a number of beautiful parks, such as the 'Delhi Park', 'El Salvador Park', the 'Historic Floral Park' and the 'Historic French Park'.
