The city of Savannah is located in the state of Georgia, United States. Savannah falls in the Chatham County and is the county-seat of the same. According to the 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city stands at 127,889, making it the most populous state in its County.

Savannah was the first state capital of the state of Georgia and event today, the city is exteremely popular for its rich architecture and many historic buildings. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 78.1 square miles, of which 95.69% is land.
