The borough of Seaside Heights is located in the state of New Jersey, United States. Seaside Heights falls in the Ocean County and as per the United States 2000 Census the population of this borough stands at 3,155. However, as a result of some heavy tourism, the summer population of the city explodes to more than thirty thousand.

Seaside heights is located on the Barnegat Peninsula, which is a long, and narrow peninsula lying between the Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The borough was incorporated in the year 1913 and as per the United States Census Bureau, the area covered by it is 0.8 sq miles of which 80.26% is land.

Seaside Heights is an extremely popular resort community and is visited by many tourists all through the year. Popular attractions in the city are the beach, the amusement-oriented boardwalk and the several clubs and bars spread all over the city. In fact the motto of the city itself is 'Your Home For Family Fun Since 1913'.

The Seaside Heights Boardwalk is as popular amongst locals as it is amongst tourists. In fact, this boardwalk has also received considerable coverage from MTV and as a result, is famous all over the world. The two famous amusement parks in the city, namely 'Casino Pier' and 'Funtown Pier' are also popular amusement parks. Another popular tourist attraction is the 'Breakwater Beach', which was formerly known as 'Water Works'. The borough has also been the venue of the 'AVP volleyball tournament' for the two years of 2006 and 2007.
