Cal Poly was the meeting ground for the foundation of this group, first forming with Nate Henry, Dan Koch, and Chris Armstrong on guitar. Joe Greenetz and Mike Leibovich would join later, finishing up the groups artist list. The group hit the road with a management less group, hitting the clubs and playing on their own time. They later would sign with Militia Group with Sidecho Records, releasing their debut album Sing, But Keep Going. The album sold 20,000 copies and made the band nationally known.
The band continued to make national notice as they continued to play in the Vans warped Tour and sold out concert shows in 2006. The group later signed with MySpace Records, releasing both Summer and a Different Light, recorded late in 2006. The record was recorded with producer Lou Giordano and featured Joanna, his daughter, as a violinist in I'm Asking Her to Stay.
