The city of Statesboro is located in the state of Georgia, United States. Statesboro falls in the County of Bulloch and is the county seat of the same. According to the 2000 United States Census, the population of the city stands at 22,698, making it the most populous city in the Bulloch County.

Statesboro is mainly regarded as a college town and is famous for being home to the Georgia Southern University. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city covers a total area of 12.6 square miles, of which 99.1% is land.
