King is a phenomenal solo acoustic guitarist, he plays compelling guitar arrangements of almost everything including Beatles, bebop, Bach, Woody Herman, Gershwin, Porter, Mancini, Manhattan Transfer hits, show tunes, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, Jimi Hendrix, Glenn Miller, TV themes, and compelling originals. He chooses the best of every genre, when he plays it is exclaimed that his performance 'sounds like a trio or quartet'.
