What is the obsession with Kendra Wilkinson from “The Girls Next Door”? She has been on 2 reality TV shows one she is currently starring in and now she has a memoir that is going to be published. I mean she is 24 years old, how much can she have to say?  The book which is scheduled to be released next summer is said to talk about her childhood, as well as her time in the Playboy mansion and the time she spent with Hugh Hefner. She will talk about her new life with Hank Baskett and the impending birth of her new baby. She is definitely the “it girl” of the moment. She also made a statement the other day about how she is no longer going to be watching “Jon and Kate Plus 8” anymore. She liked it better in the old days when they were just a happy regular family and not all Hollywood and drama like now. She says, “I feel bad for the kids.” Ironically she says that “she would never allow her new baby to appear on her hit E! show ‘Kendra’. That will all be private.” Funny on that same day she signed on for another season of her show with 12 new episodes. We will see how long that sentiment lasts.

Today is the day that the world will get their chance to say their final goodbyes to Michael Jackson. Although it has not been known until just recently Michael Jackson’s body will be at the Staples Center today for the memorial service. In fact it is being reported that the LAPD SWAT team will be part of the motorcade bringing the body from Forest Lawn Cemetery, where the family held a private memorial, to the Staples Center. There is also a helicopter ready to go as well in case any safety issues do develop. The event is going to end up costing the city of Los Angeles around $4 million and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is asking the fans to help cover the costs. There is even a PayPal account that has been set up by the mayor where you can donate money directly. The Staples Memorial Service will start at 10:00 a.m. pacific time and Rev. Al Sharpton is set to deliver the eulogy. I have to say I am a bit nervous to watch, I just hope there are no altercations or issues with all those people and fans gathered together. This event is said to be the biggest of all time, even bigger the Obama’s inauguration. Billions of people are going to be watching it on TV and between being streamed live and people Twittering about it this will really be a historic event.
 

What is it about Beyonce and her song, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)” and video that the famous boy celebrities just can’t stop spoofing it? First it was Justin Timberlake on SNL, and now Joe Jonas shows his fully uni-tard clad figure along with a pair if stilettos, spoofing the song. The Jonas Brothers are getting the fans all hyped up for the release of their newest album, which drops June 16th, “Lines Vines and Trying Times”. The video is pretty cute, starting out with a very shy Joe hiding behind his brother but then look out, he goes for it. Beyonce just can’t help getting everyone going. I warn you I am on a bit of a tirade this morning after this story I just read. And for the record maybe it is just too much coffee but I must tell you about this. Not exactly celebrity gossip but I promise if you hear me out I will get to that. For the record, after reading this latest story I may never get a good night’s sleep again. This story definitely needs to be filed under the topic…what were they thinking?? Ok basically here is the gist; it seems that Burmese python pet owners who have become overwhelmed with their pet snakes are apparently letting them loose in the Florida Everglades. A whole team has been put together called the “Python Patrol” to catch these things that are not only threatening the eco system and eating all the animals in site, but seem to be making their way into the Florida Keys. Oh that is so not ok!!! Where do I even begin, these snakes (and let me tell you I cannot even look at the pictures) can grow to over 20 feet long and weigh over 200 pounds and can live up to 30 years. They have been known to eat a 5 foot long alligator whole and even a bobcat. They can travel up to almost 2 miles a day and already 8 have been found in the Florida Keys. So this group has been put together to learn how to capture them and respond quickly if people find them. They hope to find them and stop them from breeding which could really turn into a big problem. At this point there are already an estimated 30 THOUSAND of these pythons living in the Everglades National Park. So people if you have one or know anyone who has one of these as a pet, tell them if you do not want it call for help do not let it go free, seriously not a good solution. People do not want to find one of these in their backyard or worse in their house. I shudder at the thought! Plus that can’t be all that good for tourism in the Keys now can it? 
 

 Kelly Osbourne says she “has never been clean until now”. Kelly was just released from a month long rehab. program has been out for three weeks. She says she has been addicted to painkiller since she got her tonsils removed when she was 13 years old.  Although she has been in rehab 2 times previously this time she is really clean. She said that she went into rehab because “she knew if I didn’t get help I would die.” Kelly is back with her family and has reunited with them for their new Fox show called the “Osbournes Reloaded.” Keep it clean this time Kelly
