The Octomom, Nadya Suleman, finally has the reality show she has been hoping for. Filming will start September 1 and will most likely air first in the U.K and then here in the states. Eyeworks is the company producing the show and they have also produced, “The Biggest Loser” and “Breaking Bonaduce”. Suleman’s brood will make about $250,000 over 3 years and that roughly breaks down to about $250 a day per kid. Compared to other reality shows their taping schedule will be pretty light. For the first year they will only film for 36 days, the second year only 21 days and the third year only 14 days. Sounds pretty non evasive to me. That was Nadya’s plan all along; she just wants to film certain milestones in their lives. Oddly enough she is trying to stay away from the whole “Jon and Kate Plus 8” scenario. Hey, maybe she is smarter than we originally thought. Not to mention 15% of the children’s earnings will automatically go into a trust fund for each child that they cannot touch until they turn 18 as required by state law in California.

Are you kidding me??? It seems that Jon Gosselin needed to get away again and this time he is doing it with another new woman. There is a new Kate in Jon’s life and the two have been in the Hamptons for 3 days together so far. Ironically this Kate is Kate Major, a tabloid reporter for the Star. She must be in heaven with all this good stuff to write about!! The story gets even better; the two are staying in Michael Lohan’s house (yes that is Lindsay Lohan’s dad). The two are said to both be friends with Michael and when they needed a place to stay he opened up his home to them. Hmmm….I wonder what the Hailey Glassman thinks about this arrangement and I don’t even want to know what his soon to be ex wife thinks about the whole thing. Glad he is having such a blast while his 8 kids are at home with mom.
 

What is it about Beyonce and her song, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)” and video that the famous boy celebrities just can’t stop spoofing it? First it was Justin Timberlake on SNL, and now Joe Jonas shows his fully uni-tard clad figure along with a pair if stilettos, spoofing the song. The Jonas Brothers are getting the fans all hyped up for the release of their newest album, which drops June 16th, “Lines Vines and Trying Times”. The video is pretty cute, starting out with a very shy Joe hiding behind his brother but then look out, he goes for it. Beyonce just can’t help getting everyone going. The big news this morning seems to be that ‘Sex and the City “actress, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend of 5 years, Christine Marinoni, got engaged. Nixon has 2 children, Samantha 12 and Charles 6 from a previous relationship with photographer, Danny Mozes. The 2 actually announced their engagement during a gay rights rally that they were attending in New York City. The 2 hope to be able to eventually legalize their marriage in New York and say they will wait for legislation to pass the gay marriage act. A vote is actually set to happen soon, but at this point still needs more support from congress.

I have to tell you, this isn’t exactly the hot gossip scoop but it is something I am personally so excited about…. one of my all time favorite shows is back on Broadway. “West Side Story”...who doesn’t just want to start snapping their fingers and dancing the night away with The Jets and The Sharks? The modern day Romeo and Juliet is just a fun show that you won’t want to miss. Who can forget Riff, Bernardo, Anita, Tony and girl named Maria? “The Step It Up and Dance” winner from the Bravo reality TV show, Cody Green, plays Riff and Karen Olivio takes on the role made famous by Chita Rivera, Anita. You might now Olivio from the Broadway show “In the Heights”. IT is just a fun evening with great music and issues that after all this time are still prevalent. And while I am in the theatre mode, I just have to let you know about another oldie but goodie that is back on Broadway – “Hair”. Moving from the 50’s to the 60’s the songs are some of the best, and will make you want to get up and sing. Who can forget “Let the Sun Shine In” and “Aquarius”. If you need a pick me up with all that is going on these days I guarantee great music, hippies, free love, and peace - should help for a little while anyway.

There is shocking news to discuss about LeAnn Rimes and her costar Eddie Cibrian. The two are featured in the new US Magazine and there are pictures. The two who star together in a Lifetime Movie, were seen out for a romantic dinner in Laguna Beach and were seen kissing and holding hands as well. US Magazine is also reporting that a week after the dinner the couple spent 3 hours together at a hotel on March 14. This is not good news for Rimes who was married 7 years ago to her former backup dance, Dean Sheremet. At the time LeAnn was just 19 and Dean was 21.  In response to all the rumors flying around, LeAnn writes on her blog, “This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support.” She also says that “I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white. Have faith”.
