The Early November is a well known emo/indie rock band hailing from Hammonton, New Jersey. The band was found in 2001 by a combined effort of guitarists Arthur "Ace" Enders and Jim, bassist Sergio Anello and drummer Jeff Kummer in Hammonton. It signed a deal with Drive-Thru Records in 2002. In four years, the band has secured its place in music industry by releasing two EPs, "For All of This" in 2002 and "The Acoustic" in 2003 and launching two full-length albums including "The Room's Too Cold" in 2003 and the latest one triple album "The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path" in 2006. This triple album has topped the charts and made its position at #31 on the Billboard 200. They have been the regular participants in the Vans Warped Tour since 2002.
The Early November started its endeavor in music by recording a 5 track demo in Enders' basement. They sent this recording along with a poorly edited videotape to only one label, Drive-Thru Records.

Artist Biography - The Early November
|
Within a few months, the band experienced some replacements including Steve Nakovich on guitar and Mike Klemash on bass. Very soon, the band got a chance to meet Richard Reines of Drive-Thru while on his visit to their hometown. He was amazed to hear the band and returned to California to discuss a possible signing of The Early November with Stefanie Reines, co-owner of Drive-Thru. Meanwhile, the band underwent another lineup change with addition of Joe Marro replacing Nakovich. The Band was soon signed by Drive-Thru and was placed on stage experience, on 2002's Skate and Surf Fest and on selected dates of the Warped Tour.
Before recording their very first EP "For All Of This", Klemash and Marro left the band in 2002. It was a time when Anello re-joined the band on bass, while the band welcomed another entry of a second guitarist from John Dubitsky. This debut EP was released on Drive-Thru Records in early November 2002. "The Acoustic EP" was recorded by Enders on his own. This EP featured acoustic versions of most songs off their debut EP. The Acoustic was made out mere two months later. Simultaneously, guitarist Marro had re-joined the band replacing Dubitsky.
The band was on extensive touring throughout 2003. While touring, the band was preparing and writing songs for its latest album "The Room's Too Cold", which was released in late 2003. Just after the release, Enders came up with a solo record under the name "I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business". The CD was almost scrapped due to Enders wish to focus on The Early November after Kummer left the band in summer 2004 and re-joined two weeks later. The band added a new guitar tech Bill Lugg as the third guitarist while recording their triple album, "The Mother, The Mechanic, The Path". This album was released finally on July 11th 2006. It proved to be a great hit debuting at #31 on the Billboard Top 200 chart for the week ending July 21st, 2006 becoming the band's highest charting album to date.
Currently the band is on tour to USA spanning the major venues like Las Vegas, Austin, Atlanta, Baltimore and many others.
