The Pretty Reckless is the rock group from New York City starring Taylor Momsen, the controversial American actress, singer, and model of Gossip Girl fame. Momsen is not alone on stage though. Momsen is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist and she plays with Ben Phillips on lead guitar and backup singer, Mark Damon on bass, and Jamie Perkins on drums. The Pretty Reckless tickets are now on sale to see this new band as they try and build a reputation for themselves, not alone based on Momsen's red carpet antics.
The group began in 2009 a few months after a fateful meeting between Momsen, Phillips, and the producer Kato Khandwala. Originally the Pretty Reckless featured Momsen, John secolo, Matt Chiarell, and Nick Carbone. The new group went on tour supporting the Veronicas, but Momsen fired her band when she realized the lineup would never produce the sound she wanted. Momsen brought in Phillips, Damon, and Perkins, three bandmates from the Famous.
