The Script is an Irish pop rock band that has finally made an impact in the United States after conquering most of Europe and going double-platinum with its debut self-titled album in the UK. The Script tickets are finally available in the U.S. after being a top-seller across the Atlantic Ocean. The group's album has even made an entry onto the Billboard 200, reaching number 64. The single "Breakeven" has fared better though, peaking at number 12 on the U.S. singles chart.
The group is currently comprised of Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power. It once had a fourth member, Terry Daly. O'Donoghue and Sheehan met as part of the group My Town, a rock band that preceded the Script. Though the group did not manage to overcome the boyband fever that had overtaken the music scene, the talented songwriting duo found they had fans across to ocean and were soon producing songs with R&B artists in Canada.
