The band directly addresses the audience depending on where and when they are performing. The group choreographs and performs many songs, including the dancing of boy bands and stories of their lives and bible stories.
During the show, the Soul Sensor DX-12 is displayed to show the number of burdened souls in the theatre. The goal of the group is to reduce this number to zero by the end of the concert to save their fans from a dismal afterlife. The group is known to be both humorous and satirical of the religion, but do not acknowledge their double meanings.

The show was written by Gary Adler, Michael Patrick Walker, Kevin Del Aguila, Ken Davenport, and Marc Kessler. The show debuted in 2004 at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and the 47th Street Theatre. Marc Kudisch performed the pre-recorded version of God and was directed by Stafford Arima and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.
