"Berenstain Bears On Stage" is an excellent and todays' most happening part of the GrandKids Arts Education Series. This series on stage has been presented by The Grand Opera House. Initially, the GrandKids program was produced by Mercer University in 1996. Its aim was to provide rich learning opportunities for young people while giving them sound exposure to professional music, dance and theater performances.
This Berenstain Bears series was started by Co-authors Stan and Jan Berenstain in 1962. This series has attained heights of fame and have become the biggest-selling children's series in the history of publishing, in just over forty-three years . The series has been published in oevr twenty countries and in more than dozen languages. The book is equally loved by the adult as well as children readers. The award-winning authors, Stan and Jan Berenstain, surely has struck a chord in the hearts of their readers with their ecumenical and gentle messages about the various struggles of life and responsibility.

"Berenstain Bears On Stage" has been written solely for the Omaha Theater Company for entertaining Young People. This show is based on five most popular Berenstain Bears books which include "The Messy Room", "The Double Dare", "New Baby, Get Stage Fright" and "The Truth". The music has been contributed by the With music by the musical director of the Tony Awards, Elliot Lawrence and his son, Jamie Broza. The musical has been decorated with the lyrics by Stan Berenstain. The musical gives its timeless messages through live acts and astonish the audience with its songs like "Parents", "Home Sweet Tree," "You Can't Make the Truth Out of a Lie" and "You Gotta Practice.". These beautiful songs add to the unique live experience of The Berenstain Bears On Stage. The Live stories on stage, will charm the viewers with the Bears' wisdom and humor like never before as the character, Bear Country Joe, the "world's foremost expert on the Berenstain Bears," entertains audiences through the five Bear tales, and strengthens the morals of each story.
He first scene of the musical showcase Mama and Papa Bear surprising Brother Bear who is the only cub, with the news of a baby on the way.
