It is a difficult thing ti direct a play that tries to capture the history as well be able to convey the message, but St. German does it beautifully in this play. He was inspired to write this play after he came across a clipping from a newspaper which described two unidentified witnesses who pulled up in a taxi during shooting, then jumping back into the cab they fled away. The play may go slow at some points but it doesn't lose the grip of the subject and maintains the interest.
