The musical premiered in Manchester at the Manchester Opera House on March 28, 2011 and closed on May 14, 2011. This was not a sad closing representing the failure of a creative vehicle, but a closing to lead to better things. Ghost the Musical tickets were on sale a few months later at the Piccadilly Theatre on the West End from June 22, 2011 for previews and July 19, 2011 for the official opening. Ghost the Musical will be crossing the Atlantic to play on Broadway in March 2012 with much the same creative cast. Ghost the Musical enjoyed the direction of Matthew Warchus, who won a Tony Award for his direction of the Norman Conquests, as well as choreography from Ashley Wallen, costume design from Rob Howell, illusions by Paul Kieve, lighting from Hugh Vanstone, and production design from Jon Driscol. OnlineSeats has Ghost tickets to see the musical once it crosses the Atlantic Ocean and finds a home on Broadway.
