Humble Boy is a play by Charlotte Jones about a 35 year old professor who returns home for his father's funeral. It explores the subjects of dysfunctional families, bee keeping, theoretical physics, and the gap between reality and the perception of it. The rest of the cast Dennis Quilley, Marcia Warren, Cathryn Bradshaw and William Gaunt, are just as faultless in their supporting roles. Overall, this play a delight to watch and an experience to remember. Whereas many plays exaggerate domestic emotions to make a point, this play is far more suburban, respectable and utterly believable.
