Looped is the Matthew Lombardo stage comedy that stars Valerie Harper (television's Rhoda) as Tallulah Bankhead, the American actress that took the world by storm with her personal antics as much as with her talent. The play first opened in Los Angeles at the Pasadena Playhouse on July 8, 2008, but has since moved to Washington, D.C. and is ready for its debut on the Broadway stage at the Lyceum Theatre on March 14, 2010.

The play is set on a simple sound set in Hollywood as Tallulah Bankhead takes eight hours to loop a single line of dialogue for a B horror movie, Die, Die My Darling. Bankhead lived from 1902 to 1968 and from the very beginning she seemed to cause trouble. Known for a sexual appetite that swung both ways, she possessed a real talent and wit that made her the loveable misfit darling of the Broadway and West End stage. She reluctantly began appearing in movies, bored with the process of movie making, but enthralled by the money. Tallulah Bankhead had built a solid reputation of ill repute by the time the Production Code dictated behavior on and off camera.
