Lorna Luft
Born on November 21,1952 in Santa Monica, California, to legendary singer and actress, Judy Garland and Sidney Luft, she ideally inherited all the acute ingredients of stardom. While pursuing her studies at Banff School of Fine Arts, she made her Broadway debut in ‘Promises, Promises' and eventually starred in ‘Snoopy' and the critically acclaimed ‘Extrimities'. Her international shows include ‘The Boy Friend', ‘Carnival', ‘Little Shop of Horrors', ‘Grease', ‘Girl Crazy', ‘Mame' and ‘Gypsy'. She won the "Rising Star of the Year" Award and Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performances in ‘Promises, Promises' and ‘Guys & Dolls'.
Her excellence in singing led to her first concert debut at the historic ‘Steel Pier' in Atlantic City and soon became a regular performer in major nightclubs, including the ‘Playboy Club' and the ‘Latin Casino'. Owing to her popularity in the concerts, she was invited to some of the most prestigious venues around the globe, Madison Square Garden, The London Palladium and Prince Edwards Theatre, to name a few. Her musical albums include ‘Our Day Will Come' and the classic ‘Have Yourself a Merry Christmas'. Lorna is also a household name in television and is known for her featured roles on ‘One Life to Live', ‘The Twilight Zone', ‘McCloud', ‘Murder She Wrote', etc. She has also appeared in talk shows like The Tonight Show, TheView, Hollywood Squares, The Today Show, Good Morning America, 60 Minutes, etc. She did a handful of movies and is remembered for her characters in ‘Grease 2', ‘I could go singing', ‘Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows' and ‘My Giant'. Lorna is the mother of two and currently lives in Beverly Hills, California with her husband Colin Freeman.
