Meanwhile, the manager struggles to replace Rusty, dressing up roadie, aspiring star, and love interest Buddy as the superstar. The audience buys it at a show in Shreveport and he gets greedy, searching for a record deal amidst the conflict.
Pure Country takes the standard twists and turns as Rusty finds his way again, finds a girl in Las Vegas, and takes back his career.
