She is abruptly packed off the America through any means possible- naturally the family has done it to protect Sonia but the young woman leaves feeling betrayed and abandoned by her own family. Now, many years later despite the many changes that have happened in Sonia's life, she finds the same feelings surfacing once again and realizes she must deals with the unfinished business of the past before she can tackle the present.
