Addams Family tickets have been available for the show at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre since the show opened for previews on March 8, 2010 with an official opening on April 8th. The Broadway bound musical began its journey to the big stage back in 2007 when the producers finally obtained rights to adapt the popular comic from the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation. The producers recruited Andrew Lippa to write the music and lyrics and Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice to writer the book.

The Addams Family went through workshops and readings in 2008 and 2009, moving to Chicago for a tryout at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre. It played from November 13, 2009 to January 10, 2010 and endured drastic changes under the direction of Jerry Zaks. The show is now on Broadway and is set to start a US Tour in September 2011.

Wednesday and Lucas are there to announce their engagement, but plans go awry, and the three couples (Gomez and Morticia, Mal and Alice, and Wednesday and Lucas) begin to question their relationships, with the trouble commencing once Pugsley mistakenly drugs Alice's drink with an anti-love potion instead of Wednesday's. Comedy and song ensue, each of the three pair reunite and profess their love.
