It's all happened in a somewhat short span of period of mere five years. Though, Jamie's gripping story progresses in a well perceived forward order from the auspicious time of the beautiful couple's first meeting to their agonizing breakup. The play is full of some well written dialogues. Cathy's enormous contributions are very well presented as backward, moving from the sudden end of their enthralling relationship to its very first hopeful moments.
