The Real Thing is a play by Tom Stoppard. It was first produced on London's West End in 1982. The Real Thing was a commercial and critical success. Stephen Dillane plays the role of Henry, Jennifer Ehle plays the uncommonly attractive Annie, Nigel Lindsay and Sarah Woodward enact the roles of the two broken hearted and abandoned spouses. Charlotte Parry makes the most of her tiny but no less important role, Oscar Pearce does well as young actor and Joshua Henderson as Brodie.
