The play was a worldwide hit but still didn't have the recognition it deserved. Thus, Chris decided to amend the story line a bit so that it doesn't look cliche and boring. This marked the introduction of various characters such as Fred Burrell, Katherine Leask and Doris Belack. To be honest, Doris Belack had a very stereotype role but his acting really gives the much required punch to the play and his role. It has been noticed that the play looses the steam in between but with the introduction of Doris Belack it seems to give the play a new meaning. This change has now seen audiences strapped to their seats not moving an inch till the end of the show. This 90 minute play is full of black humor, witty scenes and gags which never seem to be run out of the steam. It won't be wrong to say that Chris has done full justice to the marvelous writing of Charles Grodin and simultaneously doesn't look like a complete rip off. Overall, a nice play baked in humor and cherry which is infused in the form of occasional gags. Each and every character is well etched and also given almost equal footage.

Tom's reaction over the discriminatory behavior of Frank and his buddies is the main highlight of the play as he is in a dilemma as to which way he should go.
