She is currently working on the film adaptations of her plays "Under My Skin" and "The Sleeper." She has one numerous awards for her creativity and writing style, these include New York News day's Oppenheimer Award and a Drama Desk nomination for Joined at the Head. She has also won the Kennedy Center-American Express/Roger L. Stevens Award for outstanding promise as a playwright. Her play "The Sleeper" has won the Kaufman and Hart award for best new American comedy in 2004. Along with her film adaptations she is also a writer and producer for the CBS television series, "The Ghost Whisperer."
The talented cast of The Sleeper includes Cynthia Beckert, Ray DeJohn, Eric Curtis Johnson, Jeff Marlow, Tim Meinelschmidt, Clarinda Ross and Amy Tribbey.
