Unchain My Heart the Ray Charles Musical is just what it appears from the title, a story about the genius and spirit of Ray Charles all in the confines of the recording studio of his last session. From the creative mind of Suzan-Lori Parks, Sheldon Epps, Kenneth L. Roberson, and Rahn Coleman, Unchain My Heart the Ray Charles Musical tickets will be available on October 8, 2010 at the Shubert Theatre.
The musical will take a number of Ray's hits and weave them in with Park's script. The familiar songs "Georgia on My Mind," Mess Around,: "Hit the Road Jack", "What'd I Say," "I Got a Woman," "Hallelujah, I Love Her So," and "Unchain My Heart" serve as the soundtrack for a journey into the mind of one of America's legendary musicians.
