Walker started applying his years of experience in the live appearance industry. Then, with his Universoul Circus, he did make a difference and created a new opportunity that had immense growth.
He, along with his team, came across a black circus that was operating in 1893. It was a sort of inspiration for him as he started envisioning hip-hop musicals, a return to vaudeville and the other animal acts. It was at this juncture when the decision was taken to create a full-blown big top circus.
There were many problems at the initial hours as to how to find the black circus performers, how to express culture through circus arts and in what form or forum would the presentation take place.
The task of recruiting, training and production started in 1993. Much to the distress, the
first show lost each penny. However, as the idea was successful, Walker did not lost hope and continued taking efforts for something great. He believed in his vision.

The Corporate headquarters of the UniverSoul Circus are situated in Atlanta. The founder and the CEO of the UniversSoul is Cedric Walker, the Vice Presidents are Paula Murphy, Cynthia Walker and Jackie Davis.
The UniverSoul Circus was born in 1994. Cedric Walker, the founder, president and CEO could be described as the father of the Universoul Circus who left no stone unturned to explore the all the talents other than singing and dancing that black performers had to offer. An idea to present something different that can create a show presenting a wide spectrum of black talent to a wide demographic of spectators triggered off an idea to being in a new circus show. Consistent efforts were made to make the circus go hit among the people. Eventually, the hard work paid off and the Circus, at present juncture, has been in business for 13 years with the total number of performers touching 75 and the total number of acts touching 12. The unique selling preposition of the circus is Ringmasters Tony Tone, Zeke, the Ringmaster's Sidekick and the main type Acts in the circus are Ice Skaters, Violinist, Caribbean Limbo Dancers, Acrobatic Troupe, Vase Jugglers, Clowns, Body Jugglers, Motorcycle Globe, Aerial Silks and Giant Gyroscopic Wheel.
