Zorba tickets are tickets for the musical based on the Nikos Kazantzakis novel Zorba the Greek. The novel was published in 1952 and tells the tale of a Greek youth as he tries to escape the life of study his intelligence had trapped him in. He gets help from Alexis Zorba. The musical was actually the second adaptation of the novel. The first was a movie made in 1964. The stage musical came four years later.

Joseph Stein wrote the book for the musical adaptation. Fred Ebb wrote the lyrics and Joh Kander composed the music. While the novel only involves Greek natives, the Broadway musical altars the story a little bit, featuring a young American who inherits a mine and develops a relationship with a French woman and a local widow, Zorba.
