The Angel Stadium is a modern-style ballpark located at 2000, Gene Autry Way in Anaheim, California. It was inaugurated on 19th April 1996. HOK Sport and Walt Disney Imagineering were the principal designers of this stadium. Initially when the stadium was opened, the seating capacity was for 43,000 attendees but a lot of renovations have been done since then. At present the seating capacity of the stadium consists of 45,050 seats. The stadium is unofficially nicknamed as The Big A.

The stadium and its parking space is surrounded by Katella Avenue to the north, the Orange Freeway to the east, Orangewood Avenue to the south and State College Boulevard to the west. Transportation to the arena is also not a problem for the people coming from all over the world as a train station servicing Metrolink's Orange County Line and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner is located on the edge of the stadium's parking lot. In the beginning, the Angel Stadium served as the home field to the NFL's Los Angeles Rams (now St. Louis Rams). Currently it is the home ballpark to Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of the American League. The stadium not only hosts professional baseball and football games but also conducts high school and college football games, National Football League pre-season games and also hosted the short-lived World Football League.

The stadium is not only confined to sports. It has also hosted various musical concerts featuring the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Madonna. Apart from this two crusades by evangelist Billy Graham and nearly twenty consecutive annual crusades by evangelist Greg Laurie were also held in the stadium. It is also believed that the concertgoers left marijuana seeds on the outfield grass. These seeds sprouted into full-grown plants and had to be uprooted and destroyed by ground crews.
