Devos Hall - Venue Tickets, Schedules, Seating Charts, and Information

The DeVos Hall is located inside the DeVos Place. The theater is home to The Grand Rapids Ballet Company, The Grand Rapids Symphony, Opera Grand Rapids and Broadway Grand Rapids. The hall provides a beautiful intimate setting for the Grand Rapids Arts Groups and also hosts other family shows and concerts. The hall has a seating capacity of 2,404 people. In June 2002 the new lobby of the DeVos Performance Hall was unveiled. It was a part of the DeVos Place Expansion project. The new lobby now flaunts a beautiful terrazzo floor, a scrolling marquee and a new box office with an outside window. The restrooms on the north side of the theater, on the second and third floor were also renovated to give a modern look. In Pollstar Magazine's Top 100 Theater Venues, the magnificent DeVos Performance Hall was ranked at the 50th spot for the year 2005 and 52nd for the year 2006.

DeVos Performance Hall has hosted many entertaining concerts. Several entertainers have performed in the venue and enthralled the viewers with their performances. The artistes include B.B. King, James Taylor, Barenaked Ladies, Tori Amos and Harry Connick, Jr. and others. Various comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Ron White and Bill have also performed in the hall. The DeVos Performance Hall has also conducted family shows like Dora The Explorer Live, Blue's Clues Live, Thomas & Friends Live and Bear in The Big Blue House Live among others. Upcoming events at the hall includes Broadway Grand Rapids presents Mamma Mia!, to be played on 2nd and 3rd August'08. August 17 will feature Teena Marie with special guest Zapp Band.
